"We exist to be followers of Jesus who make followers of Jesus."
We don't just seek to follow Jesus spiritually but we seek to do so socially, economically, practically, vocationally, and in every other possible way tpo. In other words, Jesus is King over all of life. Discipleship, following Jesus, is for all of life. We only spend 2% of our time in church. 98% is outside church. Jesus is earnestly interested in what we do in both the 2% and the 98%. We want to so live, that our lives teach others how to live in a way they too can follow Jesus. This involves Bible study, prayer, worship, giving, and serving. It also involves life in our families, at work, and in our community. It is simple but comprehansive.
Our process for being and making followers of Jesus is through small groups where we can develop community with one another. From this community of growth, we build bridges of compassion into our community to seek to serve and love in practical ways. We believe relationships are important before we can share what we believe. This is the exact same process that Jesus used with his earthly followers. It is simple but profound. Growth needs to be both deep and broad.
