About Us

We are people from a variety of backgrounds, worshipping together, sharing our joys and struggles with one another and reaching out to others with the love of Christ and the Good News of the Gospel! You may have met some of us already, when we washed windshields and handed out cold cans of soda at a local service station, or when we gave away helium-filled balloons and bottles of cold water in Baker park, or when we washed cars in a public setting and refused a donation!

Edgewood has a place for you! Everything we do, including the fun activities of our children’s ministries, our youth ministries, adult ministries and Sunday morning small groups is designed to help people know what the Bible says and how it applies to their daily lives. Our Wednesday night service is a time of informal sharing in a small group Bible study setting.

We want you to always be encouraged, knowing that God cares about you! And we want you to know that the welcome mat is out for you to join us this Sunday!

Our Beliefs

We are part of the Churches of God General Conference (CGGC) denomination that began in 1825 as a result of the ideas of John Winebrenner, a German Reformed Pastor who ministered in and around Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Churches of God General Conference is now based in Findlay, Ohio and is affiliated with Winebrenner Theological Seminary and The University of Findlay.
